PREVENT 2024: Building Alliances Against Child Sexual Abuse
April 4 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
On April 4th from 9-4pm at Braid Mill in Germantown, Philadelphia Children’s Alliance (PCA) will host its annual conference, PREVENT: Building Alliances Against Child Sexual Abuse.
This year, we are bringing together professionals in the work of prevention, alongside survivors, to share relevant information about the epidemic of sexual abuse in Philadelphia.
Our dynamic speakers will discuss the process of addressing sexual abuse, how services have become more accessible to families and victims, and the impact that child advocay centers have on the healing process for survivors.
In the afternoon, we will guide attendees in a workshop designed to build stronger alliances for the prevention of sexual abuse and discuss ways to partner with PCA.
Registration for this event is FREE and includes CEU credits for social workers (sponsored by the Department of Social Work at CHOP).
Attendees will receive a resource tote bag, breakfast and luch.
Please feel free to share with your network and if you have any questions, contact Program Manager Sharon Rice at srice@philachildrensalliance.org.
